Everything but the Kitchen...

On the same level as the front door is the dining room, the kitchen with breakfast nook, the laundry room, and the "maid's quarters".  The poor maid got only a linoleum box to live in, with a small closet and bathroom located by the laundry room on the far side of the kitchen.  We aren't planning on having a live-in maid (I actually still can't fathom that some people DO) so the room will probably be used as a craft/hobby room--something I will use.  Here are the photos of the inspiring room and wallpaper in the maid's quarters and laundry room:

The dining room is simple, located in-between the front door and the kitchen.  The first picture shows the view of the windows looking out towards the road (actually they are sliding glass doors--not really sure why), and the second picture shows the view looking back toward the entry way and the kitchen (doorway on the left).
